Using the New Office Visit Large Form

New Office Visit Large Form Overview

SpringCharts Version 6.5 includes an optional expanded New OV form in addition to the New OV Classic form.  Users may choose to use the old New OV Classic form or the new New OV Large form by selecting the chosen form under the Edit > User Prefs menu.The New OV large form, as shown below, is designed to improve access to patient data and decrease the number of clicks required to record an office visit.  The New OV form can be accessed from the Patient Window by selecting New > New OV.  If the New OV Large form has been selected as the user’s preference, the New OV Large form appears.

Clicking on the navigation buttons on the right side of the window places the appropriate tools into the middle panel and the lower left panel.

Menus

Edit menu

The Edit menu provides quick access to chart areas which correspond to the same areas on the Patient Chart. 

The Actions menu also provides quick access to chart areas which correspond to the same areas on the Patient Chart. 

The Database menu provides a quick way to enter a new Diagnosis, Drug or Template. The Copy Note To Template is a new feature which copies the current office visit form data into a Template for future use. 

The Tools menu also provides access to H&P generator, Chart Tab change, Draw program, Excuse/Note/Order writer, Patient Instructions, Spell Checker and Templates.
